The most recent Kids Ministry Leaders Equipping focused on the “Needs of a Child”. Last June 1, 2025 Kids Ministry leaders met in the Upper room and recognized the various aspects of each child with the uniqueness that is born and developed in him.
The team pointed out the avenues where they can cater more to the needs of a child. They have looked into the children in their own homes, who need love, care and mostly long for the time spent with them by their parents. Each has realized that many children in our society have been missing the most basic needs like food, water and shelter. Some of them are missing school, some do not have enough clothes, some are part of a broken family, some have unaddressed medical issues and some are threatened by perpetrators in their home or community.
The session led to being challenged with this call: To be agents of peace for these children. To let them enjoy their childhood through safe play. To let them experience love & care by providing food in our church kids ministry. Most importantly, to let them see the love of Jesus through their lives.
