Worship U: Where Passion Meets Preparation
The first batch of Worship University was held over three Saturday afternoons in April.
Seven dedicated facilitators came together to plan, pray, and prepare a curriculum tailored for our ministers in music, tech, and vocals. With much collaboration and discernment, they crafted sessions that were relevant and practical—focused not only on technical and musical excellence but also on spiritual growth.
A total of 22 students enrolled in this initial course.
Despite their busy schedules, each one invested time and energy into this program with the hope of developing their skills and rekindling their passion for serving Jesus through the ministry.
Musicians explored music theory and its essential role in their growth. Vocalists were equipped with proper vocal techniques and preparation strategies, while also revisiting the heart and identity of a true worship leader. They were reminded that communication and relationship—with fellow ministers, leaders, and the church—are just as vital as skill.
The tech team delved into the basics of the equipment they use, gaining a deeper understanding of the “why” behind their roles and how excellence in service impacts worship as a whole.
All in all, Worship University was a packed and purposeful program.
We’re excited to see how each participant will apply their learnings in their ongoing ministry. May they continue to grow in excellence, unity, and fire for the Lord—all for Jesus.
