Women’s Ministry
By Connie Esguerra
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up,
just as in fact you are doing.”
Thessalonians. 5:11
Being a part of CCBC Women Connect is exciting. I love being a part of a community that engages women heart-to-heart as we share with them God’s purpose of salvation through Jesus Christ.
I am blessed to participate in amazing events in this ministry. Partnering with government sectors, our team joined in Women’s Month activities where women take centerstage and the nation recognizes their valuable role in society.
In these events, we were able to reach out to women of all stripes and in diverse situations–mothers, teachers, reprobates, young, elderly, and others. In our group sessions, we underline that ours is a safe space where they can lay their guards down and be themselves.
Indeed, women are connectors. Each one has a story to tell, and we love hearing them.
After all, we are sisters who empathize with the concerns of all women whose desire is to live their lives with meaning and purpose. We take every opportunity to share the good news of salvation and the promise of abundant life through Jesus, and we rejoice at every prayer of acceptance of His saving grace and lordship over their lives.
Some ladies who joined Connect Groups voiced their dreams and requested that we intercede for them. They shared their story of successfully resisting temptation and how they are able to redirect their lives from wrong living to right living.
I asked how they had the courage to do this, and one lady pointed out that the encouragement she gets from her Connect Group shepherd has made the difference. Praise the Lord!
“God brings power and beauty in these connections when we abide in Him.”
I shed a lot of tears–happy tears–at testimonies like these. God brings power and beauty in these connections when we abide in Him.
It is truly a privilege to work with CCBC Women Connect, in partnership with the women of Kaagapay Ministry whose hearts are engaged with the purpose of encouraging women to step into their godly calling. Truly, they have made God visible in the world in a powerful way, and they affect change with their unique gifts and God-given talents.

Mahirap mag-isa.
