WWL Stories: Abiding in Christ, Bearing Fruit

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you”

These powerful and truthful words from the Lord in John 15 continue to be evident through the ministry of WWL. God has faithfully blessed the work of those who remain anchored in Him and committed to His will. Once again, WWL successfully trained passionate and courageous believers who are now reaching more people with the Gospel. The Lord also opened opportunities for them to share Christ beyond their training environments, allowing them to minister to others in various settings. Through these efforts, even family members of the trainees were able to hear the Gospel and receive the gift of eternal life. This ministry reminds us that sharing the Gospel does not always require extraordinary methods; often, simple conversations become powerful tools in God’s hands to touch hearts and transform lives. To God be all the glory!

Reaching Co-Workers with the Good News with Sophia Rona

My experience at KGB Schneiden Corp. greatly strengthened my desire to continue sharing the Gospel and helping others grow in their relationship with Christ. Through the support of the company and the WWL training, we were given opportunities to share God’s Word in the workplace. As a result, several employees openly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In the following weeks, additional employees began attending our Bible study sessions after being encouraged by the testimonies and discussions they observed among their co-workers. This created more opportunities to share the Gospel and disciple others. The training also helped our Bible studies go beyond simply discussing Bible passages, allowing us to explore God’s grace, salvation, and the assurance of faith in Christ more deeply. Participants gained a clearer understanding of true salvation, strengthening their faith and spiritual maturity. Personally, this experience deepened my commitment to God and increased my appreciation of His grace and unconditional love. – Sophia Rona

From Nervousness to Confidence with Mark Betancor

I thank the Lord for WWL and for the team of trainers He has provided. Their passion, dedication, and skill in teaching others how to share the gospel have greatly encouraged me and served as a model for effective ministry. Through the training, I was also given opportunities to grow in both confidence and competence, especially during the OJTs, which were my favorite yet most challenging part of the program. Although facilitating gospel sharing was often nerve-racking, I was amazed by how prepared and supportive the trainers were in guiding me and helping me learn from my mistakes, recognizing the importance of communicating God’s Word accurately and clearly. I am also grateful to see many people being reached through WWL each week, often with positive responses. This reminded me that many who do not yet know Christ may simply need someone to share the gospel with them. Despite the challenges, I thank God for His grace and for the valuable training I received.

Sustained by Grace, Moved by the Harvest with Erlinda Antonio

I am truly thankful to the Lord for His faithfulness throughout my WWL training. There were many times when I felt tired and discouraged because of the demands of work throughout the week, and I even thought about giving up. Yet God continually strengthened, guided, and sustained me, enabling me to persevere and complete the training. One of my greatest joys was seeing the people I prayed for—my loved ones, friends, co-workers, and even strangers—hear and understand the gospel. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing someone recognize their need for the Lord Jesus Christ and receive the gift of eternal life. Many times, I was moved to tears because of the overwhelming joy in my heart. Matthew 4:19 and Matthew 9:37–38 challenged me to continue following Christ and sharing His Word. These verses remind me that many people still need to hear the gospel, and I desire to faithfully help reach them today.

Prepared for Real-Life Ministry with Jazelle Bernal

I am truly thankful to the Lord for His presence, guidance, and faithfulness throughout our WWL training. From the very beginning, I experienced His help through the trainers He provided during our OJT sessions. One of the most memorable moments for me was our first encounter in the circle. We met people who were somewhat discourteous and even seemed to test our patience, but by God’s grace, it did not hinder us from sharing His Word. Instead, that experience solidify God’s work through us. Through the support and guidance of our trainers, I learned how to navigate different situations while faithfully sharing the gospel. I also noticed significant spiritual growth in my life, which means so much to me. In response to God’s command to go and make disciples, I encourage others, especially young people, to join this training and be equipped to share the Good News in any situation.
