From Learning to Living the Gospel

February–April 2025 marked a life-changing journey for 16 believers who answered the call to become witnesses of the gospel through the “Witnessing as a Way of Life” training. Spanning ten sessions of equipping and outreach, the program didn’t just teach participants how to share their faith—it launched them into the mission field right where they were.
This season’s cohort was a beautiful representation of the Body of Christ in its many stages—teenagers, young adults, and senior citizens—each bringing their unique strengths and challenges to the table. For some, time constraints and busy schedules made weekly commitments difficult. Others juggled school, ministry, or family responsibilities. Still others, especially our older participants, courageously pressed through memory limitations and physical strain.
What stood out above all was the unwavering willpower, faith, and obedience that drove each participant to persevere. Session after session, the group gathered not only to learn the biblical foundations of evangelism but also to put them into practice—boldly stepping into communities, campuses, streets, and even quiet homes to share the hope of Jesus Christ.
Beyond the training itself, meaningful friendships blossomed between trainers and trainees, bridging the age gaps and creating a supportive community rooted in faith and mutual encouragement. This fellowship became a vital part of the journey, enriching the experience for everyone involved.
The program wasn’t just about information; it was about transformation. As participants ventured out into real-life situations, they discovered that witnessing wasn’t reserved for the gifted or extroverted—it was for every believer willing to say “yes” to the Great Commission. Many shared testimonies of fear being replaced by boldness, hesitation turned to compassion, and everyday routines becoming opportunities for gospel encounters.
One senior participant shared, “I thought I wouldn’t be able to memorize the verses, but the more I obeyed, the more the Word stayed in my heart. God truly equips those He calls.”
A teenager reflected, “Even with school and youth ministry, I realized that sharing Jesus isn’t a separate task—it’s part of who I am. This training made me see that witnessing can be woven into daily life.”
A particularly joyful highlight of the program was that one of the trainees was so moved by their journey that they decided to be baptized, publicly affirming their faith and commitment.
This entire program was fueled by the fervent prayers of prayer partners and ministers who supported the participants every step of the way, underscoring the power of intercession and community in spiritual growth.
The graduation of this batch is not an end, but a beginning. Each life touched during the training is now a seed planted—within them and in the hearts of those they reached. As these witnesses continue their journey, they carry with them not just techniques, but the fire of a personal mission, ready to make “witnessing” more than just a moment—it’s now a way of life.
