Starting the Journey: School of Shepherds Equips Believers for Discipleship
The School of Shepherds recently launched at CCBC, bringing together current and potential small group leaders for a time of equipping and vision casting. The first course, 4 Chair Discipling, focused on Jesus’ model of making disciples—starting from calling and teaching, to walking alongside His followers.
Participants not only learned the biblical foundation of discipleship but also gained practical tools to apply in real-life ministry. Some have already taken steps to initiate their own small groups, embracing the call of Matthew 28:18–20.
This is more than a training—it’s the start of a lifelong mission to become followers of Jesus who make other followers of Jesus. As this journey begins, let us continue to pray for these shepherds as they walk in obedience and lead others to Christ.
