CCBC Group Prayer in the midst of the pandemic survived and thrived. Midweek Encounter with God (MEG) Devotional and Prayer Meeting, Saturday Dawn Prayer (SDP), and the Family Prayer Ministry Messenger Chat Group are the venues where CCBC prayer warriors meet to pray for one another and others.
Baby, who resides in Aklan, joins us almost weekly. Her daughter is a frontliner doctor, whom she has the highest concern for safety. Baby says that Group Prayer helps her so much.
Those abroad, like Pastor Edwin and Alice Dalimbang and Pastor Rey and Maya Maclang join us as well, and the encouragement is mutual. We learn about and pray for each other’s joys and challenges.
This experience is repeated over and over again in those involved in CCBC’s Prayer Ministry. We’re apart, yes. But in prayer, we’re together. Praise be to God.
