Joy and Noele both serve with the Young Adults Ministry. Joy, along with Justin, leads and facilitates Word2022, YAM’s Bible Reading Campaign. Noele on the other hand, is a volunteer who assists Joy in executing the programs for Word2022. In terms of discipleship, Noelle is a fresh member of Joy’s Life Group. She joined just last year and we are happy to share their story:
As we process the complexities of this year, the hymn Christ the Sure and Steady Anchor seems even more timely. It reminds us to lift our minds and hearts to Christ alone amid a season of difficulty for so many.
Because of this, YAM events, engagement and responses were noticeably low. Nevertheless, we saw that our young adults were diligent in meeting their discipleship groups. We are thankful for the 28 small groups who meet regularly during this time.

Eight months in, people are still adjusting to the new normal brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the recent months, we learned of young professionals getting laid-off, resigning from their jobs, while some continue to adjust to work from home. With all these things taking its toll on our mental health, what is something we can do to help young professionals navigate their way through this pandemic?
